MADDIE NIEBANCK
Across the world, more than 100 million individuals have battled and survived strokes. Kevin Nakawatase, owner and founder of KNSCT, has partnered with Maddie Niebanck to establish a community summit: "FAST FWD." As survivors of strokes themselves, their mission is to provide a platform for fellow survivors to come together with their families and caregivers, enabling them to exchange their personal journeys with others who find themselves in similar situations.
Support & understanding
Stroke survivors often face unique challenges, both physical and emotional. "FAST FWD" will allow survivors to connect with others who have gone through similar experiences to gain support and understanding as they navigate these experiences.
Awareness & advocacy
The healing process is not linear, thats why "FAST FWD" aims to raise awareness and funding for hospitals and rehab centers in order to maximize the opportunity for survivor recovery.
REDUCING ISOLATION & LEARNING HOW TO COPE
The feeling of isolation is common due to survivors' health challenges. "FAST FWD" aims to combat this by creating an unparalleled community. Family members and caregivers can also benefit from these events by learning more about how to provide the best care and support for their loved ones.
